UNI-LATERAL AND BI-LATERAL LEG PRESS
In 2023 the Booster Club funded over $6000 for a Uni-Lateral and Bi-Lateral Leg Press which lets athletes work their legs simultaneously or independently. The leg press is great for balancing strength in an athlete’s legs or targeting one leg at a time. This will be in the weight room under the guidance of Coach Orok. This machine is perfect for use while athletes are healthy or maybe coming back from a leg injury. This machine will benefit all of our student athletes now and for many years to come.
DISCUS CATCH FOR TRACK & FIELD PROGRAM
In Spring 2022, the discus cage needed to be replaced after the new turf field was installed. At the request of the track program and the athletic director, the RFH Booster Club donated $12,400 to cover the entire cost of the replacement.
RECOVERY TABLE USED BY ALL ATHLETES
When Charlie Volker made the Olympic Team for the Winter 2022 Games, the RFH Booster Club created a t-shirt to show our support. Sales from that shirt raised funds of over $3,000 to purchase a recovery table that was donated in Charlie's name. This table is now in the training room and is used by all athletes at RFH.
ATHLETIC TRAINER GOLF CART
In 2019, the Booster Club funded a request from the Athletic Director, Chris Lanzalotto, to purchase a mobile medical golf cart for the Athletic Trainer. This equipment helps Mr. Stein support all athletes on RFH fields during games and practices. The $18,400 purchase was made possible by the continued support of the RFH community.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Did you know that RFH Booster Club funds a scholarship program for graduating seniors? Four student-athletes are chosen by the coaching staff and administration who have demonstrated good sportsmanship both on and off the field while maintaining high academic achievement throughout their high school career. The Booster Club announces the winners at the annual Senior Awards Night.
CHAMPIONSHIP GEAR
Did you know that the RFH Booster Club purchases every team member and every coach of a state championship team an apparel item of their choice? For the 2021-22 school year, the RFH Booster Club purchased over $13,000 worth of championship gear. Go Dawgs!
